CLUB SEABREEZE NEWSLETTER

April 2007

Greetings!

We've had some snow this month and temperatures have been chilly, but trust us, summer is coming! Here at the park things have shifted into high gear. We're busy interviewing people for seasonal work, getting rides ready, finishing up our big winter projects, and gearing up for the great summer ahead. The park opens May 19th, so mark your calendar and see you soon!

Gift Shop Staff

A sure sign of spring: Seabreeze is now holding interviews for a summer staff of over 500 people. If you're 16 years or older and have a great attitude, consider joining our crew - it's hard work, but also fun and rewarding! (retail staff Katie, Valerie and Jenny, at left.) Full-time and part-time positions are available, and in addition to wages our employees enjoy rides & slides, crew parties, discounts and more. For more details and an application you can download, click on the link below. For interviewing times, check the website calendar or contact the business office.

Cirque En Vol - Prepare to Be Amazed!

Cirque Design Team

Cirque En Vol has been one of the most popular shows we've ever presented - and this year's version promises to be even bigger & better! Park owners recently met with the show producer to work out details on new show content, set design and stage layout (from left, park VP George Norris, producer Hugues Aubry, park president Rob Norris, and acrobat Samuel). New music is being auditioned and costumes are in the design phase. Get ready to be dazzled by the amazing feats of acrobats Raphael, JP, Christophe, Samuel and Francis when they start their shows in early June.

Good Luck - Seabreeze Style c.1947

Good Luck Charm

Over the years, the shops at Seabreeze have sold thousands of unique souvenirs - everything from painted postcards to Dreamland dinner plates, from wooden nickels to cedar jewelry boxes. One item you could pick up while visiting during the 1940's was a Lucky Charm keepsake (shown at left). The flip side says, "I bring good luck" and "Keep me and never go broke" - you'd always have a penny in your pocket! This item was recently donated to our museum by park electrician Terry Furlong, whose aunt Kath found it at a flea market outside Manchester, England. It's a great addition to our collection. Thanks, Terry!
