It's hard
to believe, but there are only about 3 weeks left of the season! That still
leaves time for another ride on the Rabbit, or a splash in the Wave Pool.
Bring all those arcade tickets you've been saving, and be sure to say hello
to the acrobats of Cirque en Vol. Before you know it, Final Fling Weekend

Survey Says....

 Club Seabreeze
members were emailed a survey asking for opinions on our park rides.
Thanks for a fantastic response! The results: we found that virtually
every ride is somebody's favorite. But when the final votes
were counted, these came out on top: the Whirlwind, Carousel,
Bobsleds, Bumper Cars, Log Flume - and in the #1 spot, the Jack Rabbit
(above, the Rabbit's first hill). And thanks for the
suggestions - we received a lot of great ideas!

Pepsi Fun
Nights Going Strong

Our best
discount offer this season has been the Pepsi Fun Nights. Any Monday
through Thursday, bring in a Pepsi product can after 5pm and you'll save
$5.00 on a Night Rider Pass. This is a great way to come out to the
park, enjoy the rides and the slides on a summer evening, and all at a
great price. Plus, on Wednesday nights you can catch country music
station WBEE 92.5 FM here at the park. So, come on out for a Night
Ride!

Long Family
Ties to South Shore of England

Last
month we showed an old ticket for riding a carousel built by Edward Long,
the first generation of the Long family whose descendants now run
Seabreeze. In 1895, Long (at left, with grand-daughter
Elizabeth Long) sold one of his merry-making machines to son-in-law
John Outhwaite of Blackpool Pleasure Beach on the South Shore in
England. This photo was taken from A Century of Fun, by
Peter Bennett - a book about the seaside resort. The Long family has ties
on both sides of "The Pond"!
