fitting -- the snowiest day yet this winter, and we're busy writing about
summer fun! The work never stops at Seabreeze, as we concentrate on indoor
jobs, group sales, and getting ready for the new season. Won't be long
before we open -- until then, happy reading!

Bath House
Gets An Extreme Makeover

This
summer, you'll find a renovated waterpark bath house with all new
plumbing fixtures, tiled floors and new walls (at left, getting a
primer coat from Kyle and Dan). There's also a new roof and
ventilation, new changing cubicles and new counters. The changing
rooms are getting their first major facelift since being built 21
years ago -- when we added our first waterslides in 1986. Wow, has
the waterpark come a long way since then!

Show producer
Hugues Aurbry is quite a busy guy these days -- hiring a new cast and
designing this year's shows with new acrobatic routines, costumes,
music and more. Our staff is collaborating with the Canadian company,
and we're excited about possible new elements such as parkour, Russian
"swing time" teeterboard, and unicycle. Look for these
exciting new shows to begin in early June.

Jack Rabbit
c.1920 -- Pay As You Leave

We're rebuilding
the Jack Rabbit station this winter. It will look a bit like the
1920s station since we removed the drop ceiling and will leave some of
the original rafters exposed. While working this fall, the carpenters
were surprised to learn that at one time you paid as you left the
ride! (photo above) FYI: the Jack Rabbit (1920) has the
distinction of being the oldest continuously operating roller coaster
in North America. History in our own back yard!
