Greetings!
Summer's
winding down, with only a couple weeks of daily operation left. So be sure
to visit us soon, before we close for the season. Meanwhile, here's some
info about our final weekend, nearby road work, a cool YouTube video and

Road
Construction Now Underway
|

Route
590 is now under construction. The road is still open to traffic, so you
can still use Rt. 590 to get to the park. Part of the job is the road
realignment at the northern end, through our parking lot and to the
west of Bill Gray's (above, clearing the trees for new roadway).
When completed, the old road bed behind Hot Dog Row will be removed for
more waterfront access. The new road, to be called Sea Breeze Drive,
will include improved lighting and landscaping, sidewalks and a parking
area for access to bike paths and nature trails - all helping to beautify
the whole area. We're working on plans for a new entrance gate at
the waterpark, and will keep you posted as things progress.

Final Fling
Weekend - Not Far Off
|

 Here's the
calendar for next few weeks. The park will be open daily through Labor
Day, then closed Tuesday - Friday Sept. 2 - 5. We're open for Final
Fling Weekend Sept. 6 & 7, the last weekend of the season. It's
one more chance to ride the Jack Rabbit, redeem those arcade coupons, and
grab a sugar waffle. Check the web calendar for hours of operation
the next few weeks.
