Introducing Acrobat Rosalie Ducharme

Rosalie

"How do you do that?" That's the one most asked question of Cirque en Vol's contortionist extraordinaire, 19-year old Rosalie Ducharme of Montreal Canada. Rosalie's ability to effortlessly twist, turn and bend is not unlike the path she's traveled to get here. She started developing her athletic skills with dancing at age 3, switched to gymnastics at 7 and eventually enrolled in circus college in Montreal, where she has one more year of studies left. Rosalie has been here since June and says that she really likes it. The opportunity to perform 6 days a week has allowed her to develop her skills, try some new things and stay in shape. Cirque En Vol is presented every day, so be sure to catch a show on your next visit.

Long Family History - The Leopold Lion

Leopold Lion

The park's merry-go-round features 44 beautiful hand- carved horses. But did you did know there's another animal in the building? Near the band organ you'll see The Leopold Lion, which once adorned a carousel at Bushkill Park in Easton PA. That carousel - and seven others - were built by the Long family, whose descendants own and operate Seabreeze today. More than 100 years old, this lion was carved by Charles Leopold, carver for the Longs, the Muller brothers and for Dentzel. It has survived three major floods - and never tires of band organ music! The Leopold Lion is on loan from Ron Long and Reta Long Gregg. For more info on carousel, check out the NCA's website link below.
