Appreciation Days - Save the Date!

"The Seabreeze Passport is the only way to go!" says
passport holder Peggy Dean (at left, with Logan and Donald). If you
have a passport, get ready for Passporter Appreciation Days. On
our final weekend - September 12 & 13- you can enjoy the park
even if all your visits are used up for the year. Plus, bring a friend
with you and they'll get a free day too! Be sure to show your photo
ID at the gift shop, where you'll save 30% . All this is just our
way of saying thanks for your support this summer.

Road
Construction Ahead - Sea Breeze Drive
|

|
Construction work has begun again on Route 590 (soon
to be renamed Sea Breeze Drive). Northbound traffic is now using the new
roundabouts, and it's still really easy to get to the park (don't
let the traffic cones scare you, at right). The project is expected to
be done by this winter and will include new lighting, landscaping,
bike paths and park land. It will be a wonderful improvement to the
area!

Celebrating 130
Years of Family Fun

Did you know that Seabreeze is the 4th oldest amusement
park in America? The park first opened in 1879, as the last stop on a
railroad line bringing Rochesterians to the cool water and pleasant
breezes of the lakefront (above, beach north of park). Over a
century later, the fun lives on!
