Summer Jobs:
Hard Work - But Also Rewarding
|
|

|
|

A job
at Seabreeze requires a lot of hard work and dedication, working
outside in the heat of the summer. Yet it can also be rewarding, meeting
& working with other employees and enjoying the interaction with
guests having a great time. If you're interested in joining our crew
and think you have what it takes - a positive attitude, sunny
disposition, plus good communication skills & appearance - you
can apply for a summer job starting next week. Interviews begin on Friday
April 3 and run on Fridays & Saturdays during the spring.
Check the website
calendar for dates and times. College students home on break now can
call the office for additional interviewing times. Join our crew!

Making A Grand
Entrance
|
|

|
|

Work
has begun again on the Sea Breeze Drive highway project, and soon
you'll see the transformation of our northernmost lot from a
construction site into a vastly improved parking area and gateway into
the park. Park crews are busy erecting the water park gate (right, a
crane tops off the entrance building with a decorative cupola) and
finishing up an addition to the main gate. A new integrated
point-of-sale system is almost ready, and it will make our guests'
time at the gates quicker and easier. It's been a long cold winter - we
look forward to getting outside more and getting the place ready to open!

The Train Has
Left The Station
|
|

|
|

No need
to worry: the train ride will be back on track in a few weeks. Last month
the crew repainted the cars, which originally were coal mine cars from
the Odenbach Shipyard. The decorative turkeys were hand-painted by Matthew
Caulfield, who also serves as a carousel operator, maintainer of the
merry-go-round, keeper of the band organ, and most recently as a park
archivist. This winter he organized the park's collection of
artifacts, old photos, news clippings, blueprints and memorabilia from
our storied 129-year history. Matt is always looking for more
interesting stories, facts, photos and more - so please share your
Seabreeze stuff with us!
