Any day
is a great day to visit Seabreeze, but here are some special events that
you might want to make plans to attend. Project Boomtown - Thursday
July 27, 11am - 2pm. It's a chance to meet characters from Time
Warner's cartoon channel Boomerang and take home a free digital
picture, too. Then Friday nights in August there's family fun with
WBEE and Aquafina. Don't miss contests, games, the latest in
country music and more - hosted by one of WBEE's own DJs. Round everybody
up and come on out for a Friday night filled with fun!

Excellence in
Water Safety
|
|

|
Think
working in the waterpark is all about getting a great tan? No way! Each
season our lifeguards go through an average of 80 hours of rigorous
training in order to receive and maintain their specialized
certification, designed by water safety partners Ellis &
Associates. There are regularly scheduled practices, spot checks by
Ellis staff, and mock rescue drills to keep the staff in top- notch
shape. The staff also sends representatives to compete in national waterpark
safety competitions. Recent crew members competed in the Ellis &
Associates International Lifeguarding Championship and won 2nd place in
the NE Regionals. And this summer, they'll represent the park at the Monroe
County Guard Games. Go Seabreeze lifeguards!

Helix Opens to
"Wave Reviews"

If you
haven't gone for a ride on the new Helix tubeslide yet, you'll be
amazed. This latest addition to the waterpark is REALLY popular. Here's
what our guests are saying about the it: "It was fantastic,
totally awesome", said Erin Bailey from Irondequoit (shown at
right, front)."Going through the tunnel was really cool",
